We are always looking for new projects that will support the children of Alexandria. We continue to actively manage projects we have previously implemented.
Del Ray
Kaitlyn Blume
A smaller group of Kiwanians meet in Del Ray twice a month to plan and organize club operations.
Investment
Leads the investment decisions of the Foundation’s funds.
Membership
Charles Augustine
Establishes goals for membership growth and develops initiatives to increase club membership. Strengthens membership in the local Kiwanis club by coordinating membership drives, receiving information about new resources, and keeping the board informed about ongoing and intentional membership activities.
Public Relations
Kaitlyn Blume
Promotes Kiwanis activities in the community and within the Kiwanis family.
Service Leadership
Louis Hofheimer
Leads the service leadership programs within Alexandria City Public Schools.
Spiritual Aims
To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.

It is a 5K on Saturday at 8:30am inMorven Park in Leesburg. You may also do the walk where you live andparticipate virtually. This project raises funds to dig wells in Africa andIndia. There is a link to a 30-minute PBS documentary describing Walking forWater. Follow the link on Home 2 to watch it. Susan can bereached at [email protected] or 703-505-5152. Susan will be in Virginia the week ofFebruary 11th, so she may be able to come to a club meeting if you areinterested. Susan lives in California, so please remember the 3-hour differencein time zones if you plan to have her virtually present anything to clubs.Please invite CKI, Key Clubs, Builders Clubs and any other SLPs you have tojoin in the project. A new website will be available soon to start registrationfor this event.
